WhatsApp Groups Terms and Conditions

To access any of the groups, you must follow a few simple rules:

• You must be of legal age to take part. Minors need the consent of their parents or legal guardians. There is no upper age limit.
• Please be respectful towards other members. Be empathetic, positive, avoid sending too many messages in a row or writing very long texts, and communicate assertively. In our groups, please be especially mindful of members who don’t speak or aren’t fluent in a particular language (Spanish, English, or whichever applies). We’re here to learn and help one another.
• Discussing Politics, Religion or Sex is not allowed. Sports disputes (especially Football) should also be avoided. These topics can lead to conflict and misunderstandings.
• Let’s avoid discrimination and hate speech. Promoting mistreatment, inequality or violence is not permitted, nor are offensive comments that harm or could harm any user, community, group or similar, on grounds of race, religion, sex, culture or otherwise.
  
  
  
• Sharing personal or private information is not allowed. Avoid sharing confidential details (your own or other people’s), such as ID numbers, bank account details, health information, or phone numbers. Sensitive information about your company or colleagues should not be shared either.
• Naturally, this also includes topics such as investments, scams, pornography, as well as fake news, rumours, hoaxes, unverified news, etc. Anything that could contribute to misinformation.
• Even if they seem funny, please don’t send or forward messages that aren’t relevant to the group’s purpose, such as memes or chain messages.
• Let’s also avoid topics such as calls for protests or demonstrations.
• Although other users’ phone numbers may be visible, contacting other group members without their explicit, publicly given consent is not allowed. Any user who sends unsolicited or repeated messages, or calls another group member without their consent, will be removed from the group. If you receive such messages, please take screenshots and report it to us privately 😉
• Phone numbers may not be shared, and messages should stay within each group’s topic. Self-promotion or advertising other businesses or companies is not allowed either.
• If a meet-up is organised or an event of interest to the group is shared, and it is approved by the group administrator, that message may only be shared once a week.
• Users who repeatedly share the same post across multiple WhatsApp groups will have their participation restricted to a single WhatsApp group.
• Sharing, creating or promoting other WhatsApp groups is not allowed. Links to WhatsApp Channels may not be shared, nor may WhatsApp statuses be sent.
• If a conversation develops focused mainly between two users, they are asked to continue the conversation privately.
• The groups are not intended for sending lots of voice messages. They may be sent occasionally, but please don’t overdo it.
